Three dimensions can be defined as width, height and depth. We think of movement in three planes: sagittal- forward and backward, frontal- side-to-side, and transverse- twisting. If we inhabit an earthly space of three dimensions, why not move accordingly? Three dimensions reflect the body’s natural movement in our universal space and train it to move in the random when called upon.
I recently read an interview given by Paul Horvath. He is a physiotherapist and frequent trainer for the GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM® work. He discusses biomechanics and flow of energy throughout the body. He states that what’s happening inside the body is reflected on the outside, and goes on to explain that in Gyrotonic principles you have complex 3-dimensional segments, performed in slow-motion, with different intension and tension at work.
GYROTONIC® is a unique movement method that addresses the entire person by opening energy pathways, stimulating the nervous system, increasing range of motion, and improving strength and movement efficiency. Since we live in a universe of three dimensions, why not more as one. Sign up for a one-on-one session to experience how are body’s are meant to move.
